T-Shirt Quilts

• $150.00 DEPOSIT PER QUILT

Customer Requested Up-grades

$15 - Added for each block that has to be pieced or altered in any way.

$35 - Added to custom piece the border. (Make a landscape or traditional pieced border using more than one fabric.)

$200 - Added for EXPEDITE FEE - 48 hour TURN AROUND TIME.

$100 - Added for EXPEDITE FEE - 1 week TURN AROUND TIME.

$75 - Added for EXPEDITE FEE - 2 week TURN AROUND TIME.

$30 - Added for fabric upgrade.

$3 - Added for each inset square requested.

$25 - Added for each additional inch onto border diameter to make the quilt larger.(This actually adds 4" onto the quilt for each inch added becausethere is an inch added to each side of the quilt.)

$20 - Added for each photo sheet used (8" x 10" sheets)

$20 - Added for custom label placed on the back of the quilt.

1.) Call us.  We will answer any questions you would like concerning your t-shirt quilt. 

2.) Set up an appointment for a face to face visit OR you may choose to mail your shirts.  Look below for details. 

3.)  During this visit we will:

• Look at your t-shirts.
• Determine what size quilt you want and how many shirts you want to use?
• Determine if you want a quilt with sashing, without sashing or in a checker board pattern.  Sashing is the fabric sewn between each t-shirt block.  Sashing forms a grid like look & seperates each block.  (Sashing is for someone who wants to showcase each quilt block.  No sashing is for someone who wants more of a patchwork look.)  Reasons to use sashing: A.) You like the look. B.) All your shirts are the same color.  By adding sashing in a contrasting color it would make the blocks pop and be much more visually pleasing.  C.) You only have a few t-shirts and you want a larger quilt. Sashing adds lenght & width to your quilt.  
• Determine what colors of fabric you would like to use for your quilt.  1.) SASHING - Discribed above.  2.) BORDERS - Fabric framing the quilt.  3.) BACKING - The fabric on the backside of the quilt.  4.) BINDING - Finishes the raw edges of the quilt.  Visible from the front and back. 
• NOTE - Our pricing is listed above.  We do not charge for anything not listed.  What you see is what you get.  No hidden fees. 
• You leave a deposit of $150.00 to pay for material expenses. 

4.)  You go home. 

5.) We cut up your t-shirts.  Lay them out in the most visually pleasing pattern.  We take photos and email them to you.  We will then wait to hear back from you. 

6.) You let us know if you like what you see or if you want to make some changes.  We will continue this process until you are completely over-joyed with the way your quilt looks. 

7.) We finish your quilt and send you photos of the finished product along with your invoice.   Payment is due in full at pick-up.

8.) You contact us and schedule a pick-up time.  (In the meantime, you have your photos to send all your friends and family so they know how super cool you are.) 

ETA:  Quilt orders are finished in the order in which they are received.  It generally takes 4 to 9 weeks to finish a t-shirt quilt from the time it is received.

• T-Shirt Quilt Work Order Form
• Correct # of T-Shirts needed to complete the size quilt you desire.  (I recommend sending at least 1 extra shirts but you may send as many as you would like.  Please indicate which ones are extras.  Put in a separate bag or attach a note.  All shirts not used in the quilting process will be returned with finished quilt.)
• Any thing else you would like to incorporate into your quilt, such as: Photos (on CD), patches, medals, ect.
• Please enclose $150.00 Deposit.

I will send you an email as soon as your package arrives with a tentative completion date.  I will send you an email with a picture of your completed t-shirt asap along with a Paypal invoice for the your quilt order.  As soon as I receive payment.  I will ship your quilt and email you with a tracking number.  If you are local, I will call you and schedule a pick-up time that is convenience for you. 

ETA:  Quilt orders are finished in the order in which they are received.  It generally takes 4 to 9 weeks to finish a quilt from the time it is received.

SASHING – The strips of fabric that are sewn between each t-shirt block.  Sashing forms a grid like look & separates each block.  

REASONS TO CHOOSE SASHING

• Sashing is for someone who wants to showcase each quilt block individually.

• You like the look.

• All of your shirts are the similar in color.  By adding sashing in a contrasting color; it will make the blocks pop and be much more visually pleasing. 

• Too few shirts.  If you only have a few t-shirts and you would like a larger quilt.  Adding sashing would add length & width to your quilt.  (The Checker Board Pattern will also add to your quilt’s size.)

REASONS NOT TO CHOOSE SASHING

• No sashing is for someone who wants more of a patchwork quilt look.

• Your shirts have a variety of colors & graphic designs.

• You have lots of shirts and you want to put as many into your quilt as possible.

• No sashing is the most economical choice.

REASONS TO CHOOSE THE CHECKER BOARD PATTERN

• You like the look.

• You only have a few shirts but you want a big quilt.
